School Visits

      After spending many years in the classroom, it is fun to go back to schools!  An author visit can be a great reading and writing motivator for students.



Below is a general description of each presentation. The visit coordinator and I will work together to try to meet the needs of the school.

          KINDERGARTEN – (30 min.) Read a story, talk about bullying, and share some of the fun photos from Roadtrip: Discovering Weird and Wonderful Places.

          STAMP OUT BULLYING! (Gr. 1-3) – (1 hour) – uses a power point

A flyer/order form is made available for copying and sending home with students prior to the visit date.  If students or staff members want to purchase books at a discounted price, I will bring the books with me and sign them after the presentations or at a designated time.
